I'm coming to Boston on St Patrick's Day
is there a Dropkick Murphys song about Catholic education?
Creatures! This is just a quick announcement that I will be in Boston March 16 - 21 with Building Catholic Futures. There will be events on the 17th for Catholic educators hoping to better serve lgbt/same-sex attracted students and resolve conflicts over lgbt+ questions, and on the 19th, I think, for Catholic parents of lgbt+ children. If you or someone you know would like to attend one of those, drop me an email at eve@buildingcatholic.org and I will hook you up.
There will also be some other get-togethers, and I may have time to just grab coffee with readers, so if you will be in Boston and would like to whirl a few reels with the delightfully dancing Dragon, hmu at that same email address.
My stereotypes of Boston are basically “rebellious colonials,” “rowdy drunks,” and “lobsters.” No lobsters in this photo by Anell Luchtman of “Samuel Adams Summer,” but I think it hits the other two pretty well. Via Wikimedia Commons and used under a Creative Commons license.
I'm on a Catholic School Advisory Board, and attended Catholic schools K-12. I wish I had time to both attend the conference in Boston and meet you in person! God Bless you on your trip, I will pray for a fruitful conference for all.
