I so value your perspective on Catholic theologies of transgender experiences here. So many attempts at this theology discredit the humanity and experiences of the very people they claim to speak for, presenting them more as political enemies than unique persons with God-given dignity. I want the Church to respond in love without treating people's differences as a threat to the beauty found in her tradition and teachings and perhaps it's a naive hope but words like yours cause me to persevere.
